Fullstack Job: Front End Engineer

Opportunity for a Frontend Developer to join an Automotive company that work directly with Formula 1 teams and set up critical networks for their races. A very fast-paced and exciting company that are looking for someone collaborative to join their team. As a member of the core development team, you will be responsible for the existing challenge of developing new frontend functionality for a brand-new product.

If you have a love for Formula 1 and cars this might be a great opportunity to be exposed to that.

What the role involves?

• Designing and developing in an event-based micro-service architecture
• A good understanding of what working in a DevOps culture is
• Liaising with product owners, designers and stakeholders to clarify and evaluate requirements
• Maintain projects in a way that allows for collaboration and re-use by other developers
• Using Agile methodologies

Essential skills:

• 4+ years’ experience in a Frontend or Fullstack role using Javascript
• Solid understanding of event-based systems and REST in a micro service environment
• Strong experience and understanding of React, HTML, CSS
• Understand and utilise tools available in cloud and on-premise computing platforms

Role is mostly remote with 1 day a month in their Brighton office and paying up to £80,000
